From the Founder
As I sit here writing the last few words of this website, I can only hope that my grandparents are looking down at me and smiling. They are my inspiration and I feel that even though they haven’t been physically with me on this journey, they have been guiding me every step of the way. Every wrong turn was a lesson I had to learn and a stepping stone that helped me get to this moment. This brand is our lives. It’s nostalgic memories. It’s our hopes and dreams. It’s my family’s history sewn into every thread and label. Quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail handsewn in the United States with sustainability at the forefront of every decision. I hope you love sosom as much as I do - as much as I hope they would have.
A History In Heritage
When Bill & Thelma Nomberg married in 1950, Bill joined the family business where he manufactured pajamas for department stores across the USA. Now 74 years later, their granddaughter carries on their love and passion for making quality garments you can pass down for generations, just like they were able to do for her.

Inspired by my mother's sleepshirt from the 1980's, we have taken my grandfather's techniques and fabric choices and set out to recreate that same craftsmanship in all our sosom pajamas. Quality that will stand the test of time so you too can pass down your favorite pajamas 30 years from now!
Our Mission
Community First
It is important for us to give back to the communities that raise us. A percentage of all sosom proceeds benefit the programs in our communities that are making a difference. Our mission is to help local organizations across the United States empower and encourage our youth to become the best versions of themselves. Starting in Alabama and California, sosom will be donating time and resources to the BackPack Program in our efforts to ease food insecurity and childhood hunger.
